Aims -

To cater for residents with nursing needs in the
following categories:

1. Long stay

2. Short stay residents
a) Recuperation and/or rest
b) Short term holiday
c) Couples where one needs nursing care
d) Palliative care/end of life care
e) Residents with neurological needs, MND, MS and Huntingtons disease

3. Day Care

Objectives -

To provide high quality care in a friendly, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere where choice, privacy, independence and personal dignity are respected.

To encourage the maintenance of residents sense of social well being and involvement with a range of facilities and activities.

To co-operate in a sensitive manner with all external agencies.

To encourage staff development by the provision of in-house training and teamwork.
