Since 1985 we have cared for people from all over Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. We have learned from our residents and their families, both past and present, that we have achieved something special. Great effort will be made to ensure that your needs are met. We continually review our service and provide staff training on site. Our aim is to provide a haven where you will feel at home and can confidently enjoy the finest quality of life backed up by a range of social activities.

Virtually all bedrooms have en-suite facilities and provision for a telephone. All rooms have a nurse call system and television, and we invite you to integrate personal furnishings into your room. Access to the home is either by steps or ramp and access to the bedrooms is made easy by our six person passenger lift. We have both assisted bathing and wet room facilities.

Particular emphasis is placed on home cooking, using fresh meat, vegetables and fruit from our local suppliers and, being on the coast, wonderful locally caught fish.

TV lounge

Regular visits are made to the home by a hairdresser, chiropodist, dentist, optician, and physiotherapist by arrangement. We also hold regular entertainment or activity sessions and the local churches visit to hold services and holy communion.

We fully recognise the dilemma that you and your family may be in and are here to help in any way that we can. We are not full of promises that we are unable to keep, we know how disheartening it is to be misled. Every effort will be made to ensure that you feel independent and happy.
